Cake Making

Today Mummy came to Nursery to help out and to play with us. She made cakes with Megan, Perika, Katie, Kaiya, Oliver Virgo & Albert.
I love it when Mummy comes to Nursery as I can show her around and introduce her to my friends.
When we got home she made some cakes with me as I wasn't in her group.

Palm Sunday

Today is Palm Sunday and the beginning of Holy Week. I learnt about Palm Sunday at The Seekers Sunday School last week and told Mummy that Jesus was going to die on Friday! See I do listen.
Today we started the service outside with crosses made from palm leaves to celebrate Jesus' entry into Jerusalem in the week leading up to his crucifixion.

Duckling Award Grade 4

  1. Today I was awarded my Duckling Award -Grade 4 and here's what I had to do:
  2. - Jump unaided but supervised in the water
  3. - Submerge completely
  4. - Rotate through 360 degrees either horizontally or vertically
  5. - Show a 'star' float
  6. - travel without assistance 10 metres on the front or back

- Climb out of the water with assistance if required.

So I am doing very well. I still use my woggle (even though Joan thinks it's just as a 'security blanket'. I have the right technique but a bit too timid to do it unaided.

Underwater Baby

Mummy bought me some Zoggs Seal Dive Sticks as an incentive to do well at my swimming lesson.
So now when I go swimming on Friday's with Nanny Maur I love diving under the water with my goggles on to catch the falling sticks.

Nursery Report

Today Mummy went in to see Mrs Sheldon about my progress.
Mrs Sheldon said that I was a very happy and helpful member of the Nursery that has many friends, in particular a little clique of me, Cleo, Izabella & Amy. She quickly added that others are welcome in the group too!
I am doing very well with my writing and Mrs Sheldon as particularly impressed when I read every child's name in the group when giving out the milk and snacks. When asked how I knew what the names were I spelt out the letters.

Jumping Jack Flash

Today Lola left her scarf on the pew at church so I picked it up and put it in my bag. When we got home I saw this photo of Ronnie Wood in the newspaper with a scarf like Lola's. I asked her where her scarf was and why had this man got it on?
She asked what the words said in the newspaper so I read "Jumping Jack Flash finds scarf in church" OMG she wouldn't let it go. She talked about it all day and made me promise that I would go and find him and get it back. So when she was asleep I got it out of my bag and in the morning I told her that I had gone down the pub and made him give it back.

Great, Great Aunt Alice

Mummy has started to research our Family History so today we went to see my Great, Great Aunty Alice as she is our oldest living relative. She is 88 years old and is really amazing. Mummy loved listening to all her old stories and I loved eating the lovely cakes and biscuits.
