Oh No ...

... you know when you think you have the best coat in the world and then you notice that your friend has the same!

Jasmine and I had that problem today. I put my hood up so hopefully no-one noticed!

Big Space

Today we went to a great play area called Big Space. We took our lunch and then went into the toddler play area where there was a massive ball pit. Mummy just had to get in and pretend to save me. Ollie loved climbing the stairs and coming down the slide. We played for ages and ages until we were really tired (our Mummies were very tied too!).

Summer Collection

This week Mummy has bought me some lovely clothes for the summer, I have got some new skirts, and shorts, and tops and leggings, cropped jeans and some new sandles. Since she did this it hasn't stopped raining. I hope the weather is better soon so I can wear them!

One And A Half Years Old!

Today I am 18 months old. What a milestone and haven't I come so far in the short time I have been here. Mummy says I am a proper little girl now and where has her little baby gone?

I can say lots of words and phrases now and the last two lines of Ring a ring o'roses, a pocketful of posies,
ah-tishoo, ah-tishoo, we all fall down.
I can say 'up' and 'down' so it's easy for Mummy to work out what I want. I love saying 'Daisyies' but can't quite master 'Ollie' or 'Lola' yet!!

Mummy decided that because I am now 18 months old and not a baby anymore I shouldn't be wearing babygros so I have some lovely pyjamas (as seen in the photo). I look so cute.

I also say Thank You now as well as Ta so my manners are coming on quite well too!
Mummy and Daddy have now checked my weight and height which I thought was a big game because they kept saying STRETCH! I am 84cm tall and weigh 23lb 90z. So not much change in the last six months but it's my brain that's growing this year!!

Grass & Water

As you know we have had a building site for a garden for quite a while now and at last we have GRASS! I love it. Mummy & Daddy took me out there the other day and I couldn't stop giggling at the feel of it on my bare feet. I keep saying "grass, grass, grass". I even went out there in the rain!

It got even better today when Mummy bought me a water table. I played outside with Nanny for about 3 hours. I love the summer already.

Samuel Dimes

I am pleased to announce that Samuel Dimes came into the world today weighing 8lb 13oz after only 2 hours 50 minutes of labour. Congratulations to Ang & Richard and big sister Alicia. We can't wait to have a cuddle with the newest member of our gang. (I will put a picture up when I can.)

We had such a great time we have decided that we are going to do it again next year but go the whole way. We are gonna attempt the full marathon. WOT A BUZZ!!

CBeebies

We have got a new TV in our kitchen and the only channel it has that I like is CBeebies. When I can't watch Dora The Explorer in the living room I ask for "Beebies" and settle down to watch Nina & The Neurons or The Tweenies or Big Cook Little Cook. It has opened up a whole new world!

Baby's House

It has rained all weekend so we have been chilling out at home. Mummy was sorting out some rubbish so I decided to make a house for Baby. It is made of vinyl flooring, pine and hardboard!

Sunday Morning Stroll

This morning Mummy & Nicki went for their usual bonding session out in the fresh air and completed a 10 mile walk and more. They bumped into Grandad right at the end and he was really surprised at how far they had walked especially as Mummy was out celebrating the night before.

Dora Slippers

Look at how happy I am ...... I have some slippers with Dora The Explorer on. I LOVE THEM! I keep calling them 'Dor Dor shoes' as I can't say slippers yet. Don't worry I'm working on it!!
